Through my teaching, I want to make a difference in the lives of young students. My main goal is to provide and environment where students can grow inside and outside of the classroom. I want to prepare them for the road ahead and give them the foundation that they need to be successful. I believe that every child has the right to education, no matter where they come from or who they are. I believe that every child should be taught to the best of the teachers ability. Learning should take place in a safe environment, where every student feels included, loved and comfortable. It is my hope for each student to feel respected and heard. This will allow the students to feel like they can participate in class discussions. The classroom needs to be an inclusive environment that celebrates the diversity of the students in it!
